Road Charge Pilot quietly looks out for covered charging areas while you drive, so you can focus on the road.
Add your vehicle
Enter your registration and check your vehicle details. If a lookup is unavailable, you can add them manually.
Drive as normal
The app uses low-power location detection to recognise covered zones in the background. You don’t need to keep it open.
Get a timely nudge
Receive a zone alert and, where relevant, reminders to check and pay the operator before the deadline.
Useful alerts, not more noise.
Motion sensing helps avoid alerts when you’re walking or cycling. Low-power geofencing helps limit battery use, and your journey history stays available until you delete it.
Where a charge has a payment deadline, the app can send configurable reminders. Some locations work differently: Scottish LEZs issue notices by post, and Oxford traffic filters have nothing to pay through the app.
